We as a nation, should come out of the subsidy-hangover, if we are to embrace real progress.. the one big area for concern tho, is the lack of initiatives in the rural sector.. Social security schemes are all fine, but unless the ovt kick starts agriculture again, we have a steep road to traverse.. Lets not forget that upto 60% of our population is dependent on agriculture, yet contributing only 16% to the GDP.. a green revolution in the waiting, or a Naxalite revolution waiting to explode??
